    Poor Man's Pressure Bleeder

For those of you interested in buying a pressure bleeder for your brakes, here is a cheap alternative that I made. Go to your local hardware store and get a small sprayer, some brass fittings and some tubing. Then go to your local car parts store and get a cap for your master cylinder. Drill a...

What did I do wrong bleeding my brakes??

The problem is you cannot bleed rear ABS brakes on a Viper with a vacuum bleeder. The vacuum bleeder will work fine for the fronts but due to the ABS you have to either use a bleeder that pressurizes the master cylinder to push the fluid out, or do it the old fashoined way by pressing and...

    Accufab Throttle Body Help Please

Got it fixed. The problem was the tab that is on the drivers side throttle body; that goes in the TPS sensor, was too wide. It would stick in the sensor, thus it would not allow the sensor to return to idle. I ground both sides of the tab down with a dremel to provide clearance. It works fine now.

    VEC2 PWM Question

Hey Joseph, I guess I'll try the momentary switch. You told me about that quite a while ago, but I couldn't find one. Just ordered one from McMaster Carr though. It would be great if no switch was needed at all, like some device that would delay power to the PWM circuit for say 5 to 10...

    VEC2 PWM Question

I'm running a VEC2 to control the additional injectors on my DLM S/C setup. When cranking the motor, the PWM gets power and thus the additional injectors fire. This floods the engine to the point were it will not start. As a fix I've installed a manual switch to disable the PWM during startup...

Interesting Side Effect of Roe SC Install

Funny story. I had a similiar experience in my Tacoma. There were some wiring issues with the stereo and every time I would honk the horn, my Escort would alert for laser. Very weird.:omg:

    pistons and rods ???

Phil, I'm running Ross dished pistons w/ Speed Pro Hellfire rings (file fit), stock rods and wrist pins, along with BTR Stage II heads. Since you have already got the snowball rolling, it only makes sense (IMO) to upgrade a bit. Although, it does get out of hand, as I spent around $5,800 for...

MY car gong in for tuning on this friday the 13th.

Man, that sucks Phil. It shouldn't be that expensive to get her running again if you do most of the labor. But I feel your frustration, for that to happen after all your hard work really takes it's toll. Hang in there, and if you need anything just let me know.

    Accufab Throttle Body Help Please

I just installed new Accufab throttle bodies (70mm) and now my idle stays around 1800 rpm's. Any ideas what is causing the high idle?
