    Suggestions for next accessories/ modifications?

I love the look of the Autoform rear spoiler, I think it's a must for any RT/10. At some point I want to get the front splitter too.

Garage pic's - show 'em if ya got 'em

Re: Garage pic\'s - show \'em if ya got \'em Nadine, Harbor Freight seems to always have jackstands on sale for $12-$20 for a pair. I know I'd feel safer under a car supported by jackstands. I've got a set (4) of 3 tons and a set of 6 ton jackstands. We wouldn't want to ever hear about anyone...

    Help-water spots

If they're not too bad, I usually use a little 3M Finesse-It on a soft cloth and buff (polish) the spots away. Then wax/Zaino it again. Good Luck!

Goodbye to all the Florida Viper Owners I met!

Good luck and best wishes on your job search! It very well could be a blessing in disguise in the long run. I ran a tire store for 9 years (I was comfortable there), I got into an argument with the owner and he fired me. It was the best thing that he ever could have done for me. It made me...

I bought my Viper GTS a present today!!!!

Cool! You got your lift. 67 Camaro , arrrgh! (Gasping for air) That's a 71 'Cuda! As in 440 6pak 'Cuda convertible. But he is right, I wouldn't leave the top down all the time. It needs to be stretched out with the top up or it will get wrinkles and possibly tear when you do put the top up...

Garage pic's - show 'em if ya got 'em

Re: Garage pic\'s - show \'em if ya got \'em Okay, it's no Viper pit, but here's a pic of the main garage. Obviously the one on the left is mine, the one on the right is Zippys (Rob McPhee) 93. It's usually a little messy since I always seem to be working on some kind of car project (working...

    Question about Dyno run

Thanks! I'll post the results as soon as I get them. I'm curious to see how close the online calculator dynos are (from quarter mile MPH) to what a real dyno says. The different online calculator dynos have said 406 HP, we shall see.

I picked up my personalized plates today! (pic)

It's hard to find one that's not already taken. I made up a list of about 85 different ones and had someone run them (I owe someone a ride in the car now, but it was worth it). Only about 20 were available, but I'm pretty happy with the one I got.

    Question about Dyno run

The Gateway VCA is having a Dyno Day on Saturday 4/8/01, which I'm planning on attending. My question is, "Am I better off disconnecting the battery to clear the computer to get the best run, or leaving it with what ever it (the computer) has learned up to this point?" The car is a 94 if that...

I AM GIVING AWAY A 2% BELOW INVOICE CARD...

If anyone else is looking for a "Friends" 2% under invoice certificate I have One available. First one to E-mail me me gets it. To answer Gary's question, they were given to D.C. employees. They cannot be use towards the purchase/lease of a Viper, Prowler, or PT Cruiser. But they can be...

How did you get into Vipers?

I've always been into Mopars, and I knew I wanted to own a Viper from the day they actually started producing them. I was suprised that Chrysler actually was producing a serious musclecar at a time when they specialized in econoboxes. I've had an assortment of classic Mopar musclecars, as in...

    Hood question

Hey Rob, I think you should shrink that pic a little! As far as putting the Gen II hood on a Gen I Viper, if you don't change the front fascia (bumper cover)you end up with a pretty large gap at the front of the hood. I believe it was Jon B that said the Gen II hood is 1/8th of an inch...

V-Mania's NEW "Quick Mount" Double Bubble Hardtop

Re: V-Mania\'s NEW \"Quick Mount\" Double Bubble Hardtop Sounds Great! It would be much easier to install than the factory hardtop on Vipers which require the removal of the sportbar pad. Another great product!

    Chrome Emblems

Silly as it sounds D.C. doesn't seem to make chrome emblems for the rear bumper. I got chrome hood emblems for my 94, but the dealer said there is no part number listed for chrome emblems for the rear bumper. I'd swear someone here posted a pic of a Steel Grey Viper with chrome rear emblems...

    Viper DVD

The magic Carpet Ride DVD showed up in the mail today (sat). I bought a copy of the DVD at VOI6 so now I have 2, the only bad thing is I don't own a DVD player yet. I've watched it on my brother in laws computer and my brothers DVD player, it's a Very Cool DVD. I think it's time enter the new...

    Stripes or no Stripes?

I would have to say Stripe it with Silver Stripes! Okay, well maybe my opinion is a little jaded. There's a red 98 GTS with silver stripes here in St.louis that convinced me that silver was the way to go on red. I think they were called LeMans stripes on a Cobra Daytona Coupe. Where do you...

I need help on a Mopar hard top.

The Mopar Hardtop requires the removal of the sportbar pad to install the top. As far as the front pins, Yes there are different length pins. The pins themselves are year specific, so as Jon B. says " The Year Matters!" The pins from a soft top will interchange with the hardtop, but you have...

Ever wondered what was inside your muffler?

Kurt, I do like the sound of the Borlas better, the lower frequency drone was easier on my ears. On contrast to that Rob McPhee said he liked the higher frequency of the drone that my glasspacks had, it bothered his ears less. Part of that could be that I know there are some frequencies that...

Ever wondered what was inside your muffler?

Jeremy, When I took off the factory mufflers on my 94 I cut the inlet end open so I could save as much as possible of the inlet pipe. What I found was that about 1-1/2 inches inside the main boby of the muffler the 2-1/2 inch inlet was reduced down to 1-5/8ths. This causes a serious restriction...

Stripe Kit for 2001 GTS, Foul or Fair?

King Dodge (the dealer that painted on my stripes) said that their normal price for painting stripes a Viper was $1,200 for painting on just the stripes (color and clearcoat), and $2,200 for painting the stripes on including clearcoating all of the affected panels completely, which is how they...

DC lay off info/reply to Byron M

You know what amazes me? People make comments like "You UAW guys make BIG bucks and get great benefits for putting on bumper bolts." Have you ever worked an assembly line? I know it sounds easy, but some of the jobs are alot harder than just putting a bolt on. Also keep in mind that the line...
