There is no shortage of use Vipers around will very little mileage, just saw a 2005 Vert today on the auto trader with just over 3000 miles on her for $38,000 asking. There will be plenty of used GEN 5's to go around in a year or so. Like with anything new the novelty wears off fast and fall is...
If the dealers are having a hard time unloading the cars they have now and only maybe 800 being built for this year how long before they cancel the viper? I know they never really made money with the viper but times are different and accountants rule.
Thanks Hollywood that is exactly what happen the wire loop popped of the little arm that controls the flow. Thanks guys for all the help something simple but had to have a second good look to see it was actually out of place.
Was out last night and it was extremely humid and hot. The windshield fogged right up and when I tried to put some heat to it nothing came out but cold humid air which made it worse. Couldn't see anything had to pull over. Any ideas why heat wouldn't work?
Here is a question, how many people are waiting for a new convertible?? Could sales be a bit slow because the verts are slow in coming. Having owned both I like the shape of the coupe but for just cruising around I find the convertible a lot nicer to drive around. I would not be buying a new...
Guess anything below that is a bargain. Alberta dealer (Londonderry Chrysler) has #10 LE for $200,000 on autotrader, wondering how long that will take to sell.
Well this past Wednesday I was driving the wife's Buick from Ottawa back home on three separate occasions deer crossed our path. On the four lane road with a large piece of grass in the middle the damn deer crossed so fast from the opposite direction that I almost took it out. Was just looking...
Nope not a typo $27,500 for 39,000ks/25,000miles it was a Canadian car in kilometers. It was in the autotrader up here. There now is a RT10 with 15,000 miles asking $30,000 and he will be lower after you beat him down.
Vipers don't hold the value very well, just scanning autotrader you can pick up a '98 GTS with 25,000 miles for asking price of $27,500. Gen 3's in the $40's and have even seen Gen 4 in the $50's with a fair bit of mileage. I think a lot buy them but then realize how crude the car is and move on.
I was at Raceway Chrysler installing new fuel pump and hidden the under cover right beside my GTS was 2013 GTS B/W launch edition. Been on the fence about the new vipers but that color combo is stunning. In the garage light the pretty much looked the same on both cars. Guess down the road will...
Thanks VPA for prompt service! I have shipped damaged part back. Mopar needs to make this a better part because obviously they keep breaking for me and others. I guess why bother if they keep selling them like hot cakes.
Just received these today and drivers side outer weather stripping already separated and bottom rivet is broken off. Only held together at the top of stanchion panel last couple inches. Not a happy camper, passenger side on seems solid.
Well didn't want to get on a waiting list and bought an old clunker GTS. Couldn't be happier and still on the fence about the looks of a new one, eventually there will be lots of slightly used 2013's out there in the used market. That's the way I see it.
Yes I seen it but unfortunately previous owner already drilled the holes so have to figure out how to fix those holes without looking like there was anything done.
The front is almost flawless and wanted to put a clearbra on it but figured fix the holes before doing it. Besides that damn plate just looks nasty up front had they put in the middle like that removable one maybe wouldn't be so bad.
