Car Show - Zionsville, IN July 7, 2012
It was a HOT day, probably too hot for many folks to bring their cars out. I opted to leave the '77 Bandit at home and brought the '97 Viper instead. Although a lonely Viper, it did win the award for best car post-1975. I now have a nice plaque hanging on my wall, next to my 6' fathead photo...- Dirk Pitt

Late notice but I wanted to let folks know about a car show in Zionsville on Saturday July 7th. Rear hatch unglued on my GTS, again!
I would be interested to hear what you find out. My '97 popped and the local Dodge dealer did not want to try and fix it for liability reasons. They did say Dodge used a special adhesive back in the day and you could not get it any longer. I tried a few glass shops but nobody wants to touch...- Dirk Pitt

High miler pricing....
Somebody commented in another thread that GTS/RT10 pricing will remain steady if not fall a little when the SRT is released as many owners will "trade-in" their existing Viper. I have the same problem as Ron. The web site won't take my VIN (called the dealer I purchased if from to to confirm it is correct) and the phone line disconnects repeatedly. Is the Viper Crash tested?
1. Who cares if the Viper was tested? 2. If you do care, don't buy a Viper. I enjoy my car and I acknowledge that I take risks every time I drive it. Tall Viper Owners?
You will find the most uncomfortable part of the Viper is the lack of a dead pedal. I am 6'4"+ and can deal with everything but where to put my feet. You have to stick your foot behind the clutch if you want to stretch your legs. A VERY SMALL price to pay to own and drive the best.- Dirk Pitt
