So by following this procedure the car can sit for a few months, without moving, and it will prevent flat spots? And 10 PSI over max tire pressure is okay? I'd hate to ruin the new tires I just bought from you!
Thanks
Just wondering how easily the tires will flat spot during winter storgae (if at all?) and what you do to prevent this? Is rolling it back 6 inches, leave for a couple weeks, then roll it forward - leave for a couple weeks, then keep repeating this process - will this work all right?
I have the same thing but mine is more of a "clunk" when the widow is either fully opened or closed. No issue with the lights though. I had it checked out and they really couldn't see what the problem is but said the new part (motor/track) installed was well over $1000. So I decided to live with...
I need to replace one rear run flat tire, the other rear tire has about 40% tread. My question is that I have a tire in my garage that has 60% tread left - is it all right to run with that sort of tread difference or should I just buy new rear tires?
Well at least the price has come down in the past couple of years but it's still not in line with the current exchange rates! In the USA the MSRP is $83,145 for the roadster and $83,895 for the coupe. At todays current exchange rate in Canadian dollars it works out to $87,618 (roadster) and...
My SRT has started "bucking" just like my gen 1 & 2 did in the past. I belive the fix on the gen 1 & 2 was to synchronize the throttle body cables. On the '03 Viper there is not dual throttle body cables, so what is the fix for the slow speed bucking problem?
I took my son out yesterday for his 1st track school in my 03 srt. While he was out on the track with the instructor he was told that his shifts were to fast and that Vipers need to be shifted slower as they damage easily. He also said that Vipers are not the best track cars etc etc...
Is he...
I was on the track when the "low tire pressure" light came on, so I checked all the tires and the pressure was fine. Later that day on the trip home the warning light went out and stayed off until last week. I was on a back road and having a great (track like!) drive and the light came on again...
so your car just suddenly took a 40 degree turn all on it's own?? Was it a bad part of the road that caught you? you know how Vipers handle with their wide tires on a rutted road...
When you find out if anything failed PLEASE let us know.
Glad you both survived.
Thanks Robbie- I was able to open it. So how often should it be changed? I have about 15K miles on the car....any idea on the rear diff fluid? How often between changes?
Thanks
