    You just get a trip permit from the state you are getting the car from (it costs about $15)they will also need proof of insurance. My insurance broker gave me my slip before I left to pick up the car. You do not need a separate permit for each state. Stew

    Push the shifter boot down and you will see the end of the shifter and also a nut you will need to put a wrench on the nut as a hold back and another wrench on the flats of the shifter. Hold the wrench on the nut firmly and the put pressure on the shifter wrench to loosen it. Stew
