I remember when I was working in Langley, VA I use to follow a viper home almost everyday. So I guess there are those who drive them everyday. Just don't think that I would like to drive it (or any standard tranny car) on the Beltway everyday.
Just wondering from anyone whom uses their Viper as a daily driver, is it really cost intensive to do so? Other than oil changes are there any other costs associated with driving it alot? How are they on the reliability front?
On a side note, if anyone is thinking about taking their Viper...
Lee, I wish I had one. It is just one of many plans in the back of my head. I haven't decided on what muscle car to restore one of these days, but it is comming down to the Coronet and Dart I think. With the 426 HEMI in it of course.
Thanks alot for the offer, I would sure like to take one...
I definately plan on giving Zoomie my business, he does seem like a real nice guy. Answered all my questions that I have had. I cannot wait. Maybe I'll post the pic of my perma-grin.
Pat, I would LOVE to take you up on that offer. Whenever/whereever the next one is just let me know and I will go, if it is with you then great! If not then me and the good ole 03 Impala will just have to take a ride down heh.
Matt, yeah I saw the X-mas meet thing too late otherwise I would...
Magic, wow thanks for the offer. I would certainly take you up on the offer, and take ya to lunch for the experience. Got a Red Robin down the road, some of the best burgers around.
You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, you are dispelling the "elitist" myths I've heard too many times...
Look, listen, take pictures. Same thing as any other fan of cars likes to do at a car meet of any kind. I don't have an F16 but I still like to go to air shows.
Gus, that is exactally who I am talking about. Do you know him or have any experience with his setup? I was suprised to find out that he was in Owings Mills, the only Viper I have seen around my place is a black SRT-10 that was visiting someone. All hell how about you just come over and give...
I have to admit I was dissapointed in the C6. At least they got rid of the pop-ups. Pretty bad though when the new Mustang looks so much better it takes the cover of Motor Trend leaving the C6 a little part on the top edge.
One was in my neighborhood (Owings Mills, MD off of RT140)a couple weeks back and was wondering if it was anyone here. Parked outside the TH with the yellow C5. Thought that it might belong to a Raven player (their practice facility is 5 miles or so away) or one of you guys. Another example...
Well I have to admit that I am suprised by the quick comments, I appreciate it. So far the tips have been what I expected, i.e. don't punch it on an off ramp heh. With the skip shift, how does that work? Dosen't engage after a certain RPM or what?
From what I read the owner does in fact ride...
First post as I just got my account approved, and I love the site. Not a owner (yet) but hope to have one within the next 10 years, hopefully less. I recently found what could be an answer to my dreams. There is someone here in Owings Mills Maryland that gives "Training Rides" for $75/hr. To...
