    If anyone is finally tired of their 3 piece Gen 1 roof, I would be interested in buying it from you. I am talking about the trunklid design by Mach 7 with scoop in middle of roof. Scoop does not need to function.

    Not sure what it has in it, but the kit would come from Dodge......Probably some loctite for a Viper.

    Has anyone heard of this "Lock Down Kit" that the Dodge dealership is trying to sell me for $400. Dealer said the throttle body is coming loose because it's under engineered and needs this kit. Sounds like BS to me!

    Battery is good. Pulled out and had tested. Did not replace plugs and wires. Wouldn't think I would need to with 15K, but that may be my next step.

    I had the Dodge dealership sync the throttle cables 600 miles ago. It's doing it again. Dodge is saying they may need to replace the throttle body. I hope this isn't the case!!

    Has anyone changed their battery and found the exact date and number built on the inside fender? I didn't know if this was unique or not, but found 1/11/95 and #11. Seems to have been on a Wednesday, so probably enough time from New Year's to be decently built.

    Does anyone have a trunk style (3 piece) roof and windows for a Gen1 Viper you're ready to let go? I have a double bubble top, but would like to change to the lower profile. Also, does anyone have experience with the fit? Will it give a good seal between the roof and windows?

    Thanks guys for your comments.....I have a double-bubble top now but wanted something a little more water proof. The side curtains do not fit well with the double-bubble I have. Not sure if I like the idea of the sports bar being removed while going topless....so still pondering the idea. :confused:
