    Manny, Sounds like you have a nice brake set-up for the track. However, for just driving around town, them pads probably aren't getting up to their proper operating temps, hence the loud squealing. What pads were installed? I think a set of softer "street" pads for the street only may help...

    Agreed, Sears Craftsman is pretty good. That would be my next choice. Always get the "click" type. But whichever one you get, don't buy the cheap "dial" type if they are still out there, too inaccurate to read. Be sure to zero-out your torque wrench after every use so you won't keep tension...

    It was a big turnout. Although some of us thought that arriving at 6:00AM was early enough, the main lot was already full so we had to settle for the north and south ends--and it was still dark when we arrived. :p Great to see everyone out there! Barry Meguiar, his film crew "Car Crazy"...

    Saw it today too. Very cool, I enjoyed it. Didn't realize it earlier, but I just noticed that Spike TV replaced TNN in my area. Seems like the same programming, just different name. I'll be ready to see and record it again tomorrow (Sunday). Thanks for posting the schedule.

    2002 Final Edition ACR

    Gerald, it's not a Final Edition, but a fine '02 ACR with silver stripes nonetheless. All FE's, including FE/ACR's, are Viper Red w/ Stone White stripes, red stiching on the steering wheel & shift knob, and include a sequential numbered plate on the dash. Hope it goes to a good home! ;)

    Hauling Viper on an open trailer??

    I think that mud flaps or splash guards on the rear tires of the tow vehicle would also help from all the stone chips. Don't know about the car cover though, I think it would just flap around and make scratches into your paint.
