Whats the point of putting over $100,000 to build something like that when you could have bought a real Viper for a hell of a lot cheaper.
It's just like the idiots who build Lamborgini and Ferrari replicas on Fiero chassis's and leave the stock engine in it, who in their right mind would drive...
If I didn't have access to our 2 suv's, soon to be 3, I would have no problem putting a hitch on the Viper, I mean you can have it hidden to where it's basically unoticeable as you can see from some pics on here.
Then if you want more looks then your Viper gives you right now, do this...
Is it me, or is that trailer hitched to the Viper, the front support wheel is down but still? I'm guessing he has it there just for show, but even with the support wheel down it looks like it's connected?
My mind is playing tricks on me :p...
How much is it that DC loses on each viper it sells, I remember seeing an an $ amount a long time ago but can't remember what it was?
But it's hard to say whether DC would az the Viper or not, on one hand they are losing money on the Viper and always have as far as I'm aware of, and then on...
Check this thread I started awhile agohttp://vca2.viperclub.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB14&Number=304674&Forum=All_Forums&Words=x%20pipe&Match=Entire%20Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=290367&Search=true#Post304674
And this one...
Thats because the Centerline Hellcats are made for offroad trucks basically, very popular rim in the offroad world ;)
I wouldn't mind a set of custom forged Weld Prostars or one of their other drag rims on a Viper, gives it that muscle car look and are extremely light.
Re: 18
So basically, the Pilot Sport Cups have better traction then drag radials whether racing or cornering? I know what tire gets my vote then, rather spend $400 per tire for Super Cups then have two differnt setups for the street and drags when I guess it appears that the Pilot's have drag...
1 question, I head about 1 particularly sick Viper thats going to be there, but nobody would really mention anything about it.
I think somebody said it was a custom TT setup? Anybody know what Viper I'm talking about or who owns it? It was mentioned a few times before on here about it getting...
What tires are you running now? To anyone with that type of power or close, is it even possible to go full throttle in 1st or 2nd even with Kuhmos or BFG drag radials with that type of power and torque?
Sounds like a monster
I didn't realize the 1st pic is of it in street form , I was wondering how he was going to drive it on the street on bead locks which are illegal for street use if I remember.
Looks like maybe 31's or 2's that he has on there for the street. Still, I'm trying to think of how he would have...
Bump, thought more people would be intrested about a swap like this :p
Wonder what kind of drivability or traction it has on the street with 35's and 4.56 gears.
crap, thats almost in drag radial times. Whoever that was was a damn good driver, my friends couldn't get better the 1.9's on his ACR but that suspension isn't the best for drag racing.
I would think 1.9's or 1.8's are excellent on the Pilots, considering how easy it is to break traction and not get a good launch on them.
Fastest I've seen is 1.8's on the Pilot's, but I'm sure others have gotten quicker with better skills.
This is an oldie, but searched and didn't find any post on it here. It was brought up again from an older thread on the Explorer board.

That has to give off a hell of alot of heat in that crammed engine bay :p , crap there must be enough...
Thats the same setup I'm thinking about, headers, Mopar/Borla exhaust and an x-pipe. I'm a big fan of Magnaflow's products for the Mustang and totally forgot that they offer add on x pipes for custom systems.
Is there anyway you could get a soundclip for me, b/c your setup is basically what...
Anyway you can post a soundclip, or PM/Email me with one? The more I thought about it, either x pipe design would still sound much better then stock. I guess the reason I didn't like the ones that looked fused was b/c I didn't really like the sound of the B&B (no offense to any B&B...
Friends 00' ACR is now running no cats or mufflers, just straight pipes and Belanger headers. He took out the h pipe at the rear that he had made and is now going to have an x pipe installed after I posted a thread awhile ago.
His car sounds mean, more like a muscle car then any other Viper...
This post sucks w/o pics or at least a vid of the car rumblimg ;)
Sounds like a monster, DLM is in Mimai and should only be about 30-40 minutes away from me. I should have gone down there to check out your car...or at least take it for a test drive
