Big thanks goes out to John Gastman at Roanoke Motors for making this purchase quick and easy. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking at purchasing Vipers.

I agree with your observations Bob. I still have my Gen II, but it is going towards a very serious drag car which is the primary reason I purchased my Gen III Coupe. In a nutshell, the Gen III Coupe is by far a better car than my Gen II is every aspect. (JMO)
As for the attention/head...
Jason Heffner is also working on an entry level turbo system which will be targeted at the above price range.
But at the moment, demand calls for the higher end systems! :2tu:
HEFFNER\'S PERFORMANCE AND CHAD TAKE THE UNLIMITED CLASS!!!
Congrats to Heffner's Performance and Chad for annihialating the competition in the Unlimited Class!!! :2tu:
Best run of the day was an 8.75@168mph backed up by an 8.77@167mph!!! :headbang:
Without argument, Heffner's...

On the Bend-Pak I have, the runways are not adjustable.
My total was $2300 with 3 drip trays and 2 jacking trays. Took about 2 weeks for delivery and credit cards were not a problem. But the lift only comes in the standard Bend-Pak blue.
I just purchased a Bend-Pak 7000lb 4 post lift and so far it has been a great lift. I paid $2100 shipped.
If you need the contact for the dealer, let me know and I'll dig up the phone number.
We didn't get on the dyno until fairly late last night, so the results are not optimal but at least we fixed my ignition problem. :)
Boost set to 17psi, AFR 10.8:1, and very conservative ignition timing.
Next week is another week! ;)
BTW, for those who initially were inquiring about the...
Thanks TM. I was definitely enjoying myself! :smirk: Just a side note, Jason Heffner and I were both putting our minds together while tuning. Just goes to show what caliber of shop Heffner Performance really is. Jason was the little devil on my shoulder!!! :D
ronviper: Thanks for...
superbar: I would recommend you have Justin Nenni or Sean McElderry tune your Viper at this point in time. I personally am aware Justin Nenni (http://www.tuningconcepts.com) has tuned a handful of Vipers in the Texas area using the AEM (i.e., SW's cars) and flies around the country as a tuner...
Thanks guys.
superbar - Because this was the prototype for Heffner, we've got way too many dyno pulls from testing various items to narrow down an accurate pre AEM. The last time this car was dynoed was in January. The best numbers achieved were 785rwhp/890rwtq, but this was cooled down. The...
Thanks Gary! You're on!! LOL! We need to rent MIR and go at it, like we discussed earlier.
We definitely missed you yesterday!
Sand, eh? You had to go there, didn't you??? :D
We were finally able to obtain an AEM for my Viper! Special thanks to Dan Cragin for overnighting the AEM for Saturday delivery! :2tu:
After about an hour, I had the unit installed and the car up and running smooth on 75lb injectors. (Extensive previous AEM experience)
Yesterday, strapped...
Keith,
The Supra has been utilizing the AEM for 2 years now, but the Viper is still awaiting the release. ;)
Tony,
Basically AEM has created a table referred to as "Boost Correct" where the graph is a linear line from 0kpa-XXXkpa(depends on MAP sensor used). In theory when going from...
Keith,
You can set the knock sensor voltage table relative to rpm where anything above the preset voltage is considered knock. You can also control the rate of fuel enrichment and ignition retard relative to the intensity of the voltage spike above the preset table value.
But it is up to you...
