    Re: Don\'t be me... Get another one with sticky tires , Kumhos, Pilot sports, something that sticks to the tarmac. I would guess you were on old stock rubber since the car had only 650 miles on it , if so you made a huge mistake and are lucky to be walking............

    Problem with temp. gauge on 98 GTS please help.

    My 97 reads a full 10 deg. hotter on the gauge that the actual temp shown on the laptop and read from the same sending unit.

    I use a poly C-5 vette tranny mount , it bolts right in and works great.
