yellow is the fastest color.....
I wouldn't own any other color...
I have the vert.... Which I thing is absolutely stunning....
I saw a yellow coupe and I love it just as much.....
I am actually glad there is no yellow for 2008... Makes me like mine just that much more...
Joe
I can't get the damn thing out....
I tried so hard to loosen it and it works for about a half a turn, then it won't turn at all anymore... Even broke 2 crappy rachets.... :omg:
I can then tighten it about a half a turn....
But no matter what I can't get the damn thing out....
Any...
Thats one of the big reasons I won't get one....
Plus it only has 600hp.... give me about 800 and then I would probably be happy for a little while...
Joe
Don't want an 08... It's going to take a while before you will see real big hp number from any 08... I want to to see in the 800 to 1000 rhp numbers... not 540..
I can spend money on heads and get what the 08 gives me....
Joe
Camfab,
I am talking about in a blown application...
What are people doing with there fuel systems?
and can the cams be bought or ordered? or do you have to get a custom cam made??
Joe
Nope... Pretty much decided to send the car down to Doug...
He's a great guy...
My only problem is my car has 3 bad tires.... Hard to test a car like this...
I am waiting to get my rims from Iforged.. They said probably late next week...
It's killing me ... I have brand new ps2's sitting in my...
Very interesting post...
Not to get away from the original question.... Are the strykers worth it??
Will a blown car with stock crank and strykers really be better than a stroked one with strykers????
I have read that the strykers are the best for cooling reasons on a blown car... Is this...
I see.... Thats what I would want.... Now I have heard that mostly tuners are able to program these controllers... Is the ability to tuner ourselves and option down the road???
Thanks,
joe
Thats pretty funny...
Have any recommedations?
I was just thinking in the long term... Figured I might start buying some of the parts here and there until I get all of them and then have someone install.....
It's easier to put down little chunks of cash.. Instead of the one big chunk...
Why thank you for your post Joe... I really appreciate it :)
Can you hook up the VEC3 to a laptop to pull all data like Boost, RPM, A/F?
I want to redo my electronic setup with a custom car pc... and would like to put my gauges on the screen that I put in..
This way you don't have to worry...
Are there things that the VEC3 can't do??? Would there be a benefit to getting both???
From reading all these greats threads by DY... I really want the VEC3...
Also can most of the VEC3 information work with a GEN3 setup???
I have a paxton setup with some issues, but when they are all...
I have seen a couple places where people have been doing stroker kits..
What types of setups are people doing?
Who is doing the engine work?
THanks,
Joe
Also with the cats.... How can you tell one is bad??
I want to take it off to see if I can tell......
I am having problems getting the dam o2 sensor out...
Joe
I didn't even think about the programmers I wanted one anyway......
Do they allow you to see realtime what the 02 sensors are doing??
Whats really interesting is that the cats were fine when I took them off and now they are bad....
Thanks for the tips...
Joe
Also...
Doug had asked me to do a test to make sure I didn't have a damaged ring..
Basically start the car and take off the oil cap...
If you have smoke poofing out, then there is a definite problem....
Mine wasn't doing that at all....
Thats a basic test..... Just figured I would let...
grcforce327,
Any reccomendations as far as scanners?
Since the crossover pipe is not in.... Wouldn't the cat become hotter? With it being bad..
or clogged?...
Not bashing or anything... Just curious..
Joe
The code that I initially scanned... was bank 2 slot 1... It was so long ago... I don't really remember what it is.... It doesn't come back...
I have tried checking it mulitple times.
I really need to get a better scanner... I would really like to pick of a nice OBD2 tool that interfaces with...
