    Hi Randy, I have the Hurst short throw shifter which DOES NOT allow the stock ball. However, I believe that the B&M shifter WILL allow the stock ball.

    You can also check out the McKinney area (East of Frisco). One of our friends have a figure skater-daughter and a hockey payer-son that have used that rink. They live in McKinney area so I guess the commute to the rink isn't bad. FYI, I have my ranch up on the market but it's about 60 miles...

    Calling all cars with TINTED WINDOWS...

    Hi, 20% sides and Limo hatch on sapphire blue..no tickets. The installer mentiioned that the "frosted" black edges of the GTS hatch made it challenging for initial adhesion. But once dried...not a problem. Almost an "essential" option here in Texas!

    Hi, This modification (see the "illustrated upgrades" section) or device (available multiple sites, including eBay for about $35 or less) prevents the unwanted "skip" of 2nd/3rd under mild acceleration...an annoying economy device I guess.

    TedK, I've had the same Hurst shifter in my 2001 ACR for a couple of weeks with no problems shifting. Although I've not shifted a B&M to compare, my guess is that the shifter knob height is virtually identical to the Hurst with the leather boot just touching the shift knob's lower surface.

    Belanger Does it Right !!

    Unfortunately...NO. I have a black knob with Viper Logo being shipped. (That's the single draw-back of the Hurst design). BTW, the shifter functions well. It has a "sharp-edged" feel to the gates but is easy to get used to.
