    The gas pedal assembly looks like it is right out of a mini van! Cheap, flimsy plastic pedal seembly attached to a decent but flimsy aluminum rod. Anybody have a proper solution before I re-engineer this thing?

    What years were just polished, then clearcoated? Not 01's & 02's, they are chromed, then clearcoated.

    In 02, did'nt they come with a bright chrome plating? I have 2 01's with a duller chrome than the 2 02's with a very bright chrome. Yes, the clear powdercoat is polished to perfection.

    Re: Shift points, @ what RPM\'S? At Viper Days, it is recommended to shift at or before 5200. Keep in mind, some laps on some tracks are almost like 12 dyno pulls - every lap! I did 63 laps in one day at my last event, the Finals.

    Removing the harmonic balancer?????

    1/2" drive socket & breaker bar minimum. 3/4" drive is preferred. Also, the cheater bar needs to be long, 4' - 5' or longer. Try the bar from your floor jack, other wise get a 5' thick wall pipe. By the way, black gas pipe is soft enough to bend like a pretzel!
