B&M Shifter Question
If you bolt the original knob/rod to the B&M, it will the same height. Or you can use an aftermarket knob (MGW) and screw it to the B&M rod for a lower height.- FlyBryViper

Ride height - it's your call, whatever you like. Under your side frame rails are the 4 jacking points, oval shaped rod - 2 left, front & rear; and the 2 on the right. Alden Eagle install
The yokes go either way - just grab one and screw it to the shock body. I use anit-sieze on the shock thread to keep them from corroding. Tighten as much as you can by hand - that is tight enough. Remove spings from each shock. Everybody I know uses a cut-off wheel or chop saw. Clamp the yoke in a H.D. vise attached to an unmoveable table. IMHO, yes, the aluminum flywheel is worth the price & effort for the gain. Others most certainly will disagree, that is fine. We shift a lot in road racing. Clutch Questions
You can't beat the stock LUK, especially for the price. Drag cars may get better life from another type, but for road racing and street driving you are fine with the LUK. The aluminum flywheel is a cheap upgrade for the increased engine response, especially if you do it at the same time.- FlyBryViper

5-point safety harnesses installation
If you are serious about actually using them, then make sure you get padded straps like the TeamTechs. As JD said, don't get 5 points, get the 6 points. They both require a seat with a hole in the bottom to pass through!- FlyBryViper

Temp Guage

VIR or Sebring best track for Novice?
Janni is right, and Rich is also right. VIR usually becomes everyone favorite. It's big and spread-out. The hills, blind corners, fast straights, and the scenery are all fantastic. You run a large portion of each lap with the gas pedal flat! I want to retire in the area just to run this track...- FlyBryViper

Couple of ?'s on '01 GTS
Re: Couple of ?\'s on \'01 GTS Yes, you could Heli-Coil the bad plug hole on the car. Should you? Not on a Viper, I would not. Just pull the head. Not that different from any other head you may have pulled. Fix plug hole, get car to certified Viper Tech. for analysis.- FlyBryViper

Dagger When you get a chance, memorize Janni's response. Everyone is different, and you definitely know performance, but it can be hard to "feel" the correct time to shift the Gen III Vipers.
