Viper Days Driving School & the Viper Racing League at Sebring!!

Basic rule of thumb I learned years ago is: single layer professional suit = 30 seconds fire resistance, add 15 seconds for each additional layer, including underwear. Ex. 2 layer suit is 45 seconds, plus underwear (+15) = 1 minute. I don't want to need that long, but think worst case, on fire...

Try www.saferacer.com for arm restraints. Also, Archer Motorsports and/or Bobby Archer. You may have to call them. Right-on about gettign your wheels dated and certified. That is a -1 safety point. Jump on that one, and keep the rear wing.

Can warranty work be performed anywhere?

Usually, the product is warrantied through the manufacturer's dealers, in this case Dodge dealships. But, only go to a dealership with a certified Viper technician.

    question on btr rollbars

The Autoform bar I have heard is similar to the BTR, but I have never seen the BTR. The Autoform was very easy to install, bolts to all the existing seatbelt mounting holes on the bulkhead, then you drill the floor rail holes. It took longer to remove the interior than to install. Does not...

Viper Days Driving School & the Viper Racing League at Sebring!!

Hey Skip & Courtney How about their own run group - this way, all these "Florida" Vipers that are similar can run together, get the experience of a lifetime, and tell their own war stories. Sounds like some of them may already now the track, so they will be quick to instruct. Also, they...

Is the sports bar a roll bar?

The Autoform Roll Bar will more than suffice for Viper Days, and it does not affect head height because it is behind you. Would not matter how short or tall you are with this type of bar. partsrack.com has a pic of the bar. Does this mean if you install one of these, you would come back to Viper...

    Greenstuff lacks bite

I liked BM #3 on the street, but it is hard to beat the stock pads for street only driving. BM #3 if you are heading to a track.

    Viper Funeral

Chuck is right, they do teach us that. I also found that if I keep my left elbow up just a little, it shifts much easier and goes straight into the 4th gear gate, if you will. This also works great on the street!! Sorry to hear about your loss. Your Viper is replaceable, you are not, glad you...

    Scratches from Car Wash

At the "automatic" car washes, there is a floor switch, it's the one that triggers the "stop" sign and the start of the equipment. If you roll past this switch, the equipment will not start, and eventually, it will time-out, opening the doors, releasing you to freedom.

    Scratches from Car Wash

After 30 years of manufacturing Self-service car wash equipment, I still have never used any type of friction car wash. I can only imagine the scratches the would show up on a Viper from any type of brush or cloth wash! You will have some polishing & waxing to do now.

    straight pipes or catback?

Matt This is the same delima most new Viiper owners go through. It really depends on what you want it to sound like. Best advice - hook up with other owners in your area, or go to a Viper Days event. This way you can hear several versions. One suggestion: Random Tech high flow cats with corsa...
