    Hot Summer Nights

In Danville CA, last Thurs was an awesome event, thanks to Jack Cohen for managing the logistics and hosting. The event was setup in advance of the national hot rod show this weekend at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. There was a great turnout with about 28 vipers showing, lots of gen1 RT10s...

    ACR Fog Light holes

Hey Wayne, I think they're about useless for anything other than fog lights. The brake vent idea is good, and seems like the logical choice until you realize a) the venting would have to go through two 90-degree turns to engage the rotor and b) this is a negative air-pressure zone which is...

Who owns a Viper and is in Customer Facing Sales

I wouldn't consider driving the car on a customer call; it's driven to work but never to a customer's. My job is about maintaining good relationships, solving problems and providing good service enough to have them come back and buy some more. The focus is on THEM and how much better your...

Re: Hi, new member. Just bought a new \'01 Viper ACR!!! (pics) Hey Tommy! Welcome to the club. Your car looks an awful lot like another sapphire blue ACR I know of . . . This is your thread so I won't hijack it with photos of another car (ahem, mine), but there are a few images you might...

Noisy Viper & Laguna Seca, can I run???

Two choices: 1. Run stock exhaust at WOT 2. Short shift into 4th at the exit of 5 and don't drive too aggressively up the hill. There aren't generally other options, but I'm sure some of the shops wouldn't mind taking your money to prove it. Lots of variables effect the readings (distance...

    Close call

A buddy at work was inquiring about the car today, "so lets go for a ride" I say. "Oh, man, can we?" So we go out to the parking lot and pop the hood and we're looking and pointing and talking. The guy is like 25 and he's stoked, "my roommates are going to be sooo jealous. . ." A bunch of...

RT/10s at Thunderhill - legal or not?

Hey Tom, What provider said^^^^^^^^^^, its all club/organizer dependent. When you are running? I've run a couple events with Trackquest, and I think they are a good outfit for first timers. The instruction is of a reasonable quality, but in comparison to other open track clubs, the are a...

Who here has the lowest Viper??

This is a tad low: I got pretty regular bottoming before I had the car raised back up another 3/8" or so. With the 19" rims (which raise the ride height .55" on their own), the frame where it crosses the rear axle is about 5.5" off the ground. This is as low as it can go without bottoming...
