gas millage-what gives?
being i am averagin about 10-12 i would be interested too. btw, what kind of mileage people getting? i don't really care but it seems like between 8-15mpg on a tank. depends how heavy i'm getting into it obviously.jason- dadsvpr

Does the color significantly effect resale price?
the viper draws attention to itself pretty readily. i originally wanted a silver gts as i thought it would fly under radar and look a bit more refined. I though i'd never want a black car with the dust, maintenance issues. I've changed my opinion on black since purchasing my red acr 6 months...- dadsvpr

A suggestion. I use the todays active topics feature fairly exclusively when "browsing" the site. I know it is reset at midnight US Central time. Engine Differences

Which is the best?
why limit yourself to 2000 or later. the 1999 model had all the creature comforts (minus abs) plus forged forged pistons and a mildly more aggressive cam. I like the 99 due to this, plus i like its shifter and door handle erognomics. the rear hatch access latch is also nice to have though...- dadsvpr

CAR PROBLEMS
probably the battery if you haven't been driving it much. happened to mine on a car 2 years old with ~4500 miles on it. new battery (replaced under warranty) did wonders. jason p.s. hit the unlock button. when the battery dies or is close to dead weird things happen with the security system...- dadsvpr

What do you think I can get for 50,000 - 54,000
that gts above is a smokin deal. dan cragin has an excellent reputation. the tires are 1100-1300. the exhaust is a must have upgrade (though opinions vary on manufacter), with headers upwards of 5K (installed). if i hadn't picked up my acr 6 months ago i'd be all over it. Jason- dadsvpr

Your Favorite Thing About Your Snake!
best thing about driving my viper.... really, **accidently**, getting sideways into 2nd. reminds me there is plenty more to let loose! the confidence knowing that there is virtually nothing on the road that gives me the performance driving options the viper does. Jason- dadsvpr
