Engine Differences

I'm thinking of trading my 99 GTS in for a 2001 GTS for
the ABS feature - it's cheaper and less of a hassle than
installing ABS on my 99.

What is the difference in engines between 99 & 01?
I love the radical sound of my 99 and definitely
don't want a wimpy sounding engine!

forged pistons changed to cast.

cam valve overlap changed from 66 to 60 degrees.

acrs have higher capacity oil pan.
