    Random Tech Cats fail at 92000 miles Has anyone else here had their Random Tech Hi Flow cats fall apart? Both of mine have loose parts in them now. Before I put the same ones back in again, I thought I see if there was a better solution. Maybe I just shouldn't drive my car so much.

    I've had a GEN 1 & GEN 2 with ABS. The GEN 2 is by far a better car, but you can't go wrong with either.

    I think more RTs are daily drivers because we are just cooler people in general :) I think if you did a survey of cars that were put on the track, then the answer would swing towards the GTS.

    I have the eibachs on my 01 RT. I love the look and handling, but I do a lot of scraping around town. It is my daily driver. When you lower it with these, even tire wear makes a difference with which bumps you scrape.

    Yes, the trunk is nice. I use that in the winter to store the wet suit. But I wouldn't do it through snow. Now that was a hard core surfer!

    Happy with gen 2?

    I loved my Gen 1 (94) when I had it. After it was totalled, I bought my '01 and I would never give up the Gen 2 for a Gen 1. Its that much of a difference all around. If I could afford both, then I would gladly have a Gen 1.

    When I was younger that's what I thought too. Most of my friends switched to long boards years ago, because you can ride one 95% of the time here. This is a very nice epoxy long board that is fast, extremely light & incredibly fun.
