Not an ACR, but I just hit 20k on my 06 Coupe last weekend on a short road trip. Doing 2,000 plus miles this September as part of the Cannonball Run (Great American Run) - can't wait to log some "real" miles! These cars are just too fun not to be driven.
Anyone interested in going to Buttonwillow for a NASA HPDE day on Saturday 6/26? I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area and thinking of driving down.
Has anyone been out to Buttonwillow lately? I have not been there and would welcome any thoughts on the track, events, etc. I attend...
I like your logic Bill!
What about the new Corvette design (I think the concept was in the latest Transformers movie, but I'm not sure)? It seems to have kept a bit of the American Muscle image.
I ran across this small article on autoblog today. It talks about Lancia Centro Stile sketches that might make interesting Chryslers. Got me thinking this could become a part of future Viper plans.

I own a 2006 Coupe that I purchased last year with 15k miles on it from a dealership (no service records). It now has 18,800 miles and I use the car almost strictly for autocross and track events (minimal street driving). I will be participating in the Great American Run (Cannonball Run) in...
I'm a huge fan of Eibachs and use them on my '06 coupe. I used Eibachs on both the stock shocks (looked great) and on the Motons (550/750). I'm confident you will not be disapointed. Best of luck!
Awesome car pics on this post...
Dan - this is likely a dumb question, but does the SCT come ready to use "out of the box" or do you load a "ViperSpecialty tune" into the SCT which is then loaded onto the specific car?
My $.02
I tow my 2006 Coupe to track events with a U-Haul trailer - I do opt for the grey trailer mentioned in some of the previous posts. My Viper is pretty low, but I still manage to make it work. My tow vehicle is a '96 Grand Cherokee.
- I back the trailer up to a driveway or incline...
Thanks all - I received the Clubsports today. As you all probably know, it felt like Christmas when the UPS truck pulled up. Moton suggested 700 front / 900 rear and no softer then 600 front / 800 rear. I'm a bit concerned about the stiffness and I do use this car for a fairly decent amount...
Based on gbatejan's pics, I went to a few local hitch places here in the San Francisco area to get a quote on building something similar. They all agreed but wanted between $1300 and $1800 for the hitch and labor. Since I was only using it for autocross I figured that's the same price as a new...
I installed a MGW in my 2006 Coupe via the lowering transmission method. Correct me if I'm missing any steps, but don't bash my posting if you disagree - this is just how I remember doing it.
Inside the car I removed the driver seat to gain better access. I removed the center console...
