Kevin,
Make sure that there is a freely moving throttle cable with no "lag" in it's motion. Had a similar problem and realized that the throttle cable was not "taught" at idle and seemed to get "pushed" when just lightly touching the throttle and had a similar response. Let me know it this is...
SNOW!?? Sorry, don't know about that stuff! 75 today, and 80 on Thursday. Gee it's tough to have the top down and enjoying the sunshine in Arizona. Sorry bout that!
From all of the members of the AZ Region VCA our condolences to the Myrick family. These types of tragedies are very difficult, and our thoughts and prayers go out for you. May God bless you and keep you.
I did the same thing as Racer Robbie. Changed to PS2's and had a 4 wheel alignment, and also have the Sidewinder Wheels......no wheel hop since. Also, I have 3:55's, and S/C and love the combination!
Saw my first in person SSG at the Russo & Steele Auto Auction in Scottsdale (Jan 08). I wasn't too sure about the color until I saw it in person, and it WOWED me to say the least. I loved it! Congratulations on the new ride, and welcome to the Viper community!
Yep, been there done that too! No hassle at all with just pushing the inner fenderwell out of the way. My previous Viper had the "holes elongated" in the fender well and they allowed water and dirt into that opening. IMHO, if they (the holes) were there from the factory, they would already...
George.....you DON't have to make any cuts to the inner fender well! Just tape up a screw driver and carefully pry apart the fender well from the fender itself and then use a 10 mm deep well socket and loosen the nut. You don't have to take it all the way off as the side sill "slips on" to the...
Had an Optima Yellow Top on my 94 RT-10 for 7 years (used a battery tender), and never an issue! It was going strong when the car was totaled. Have a 2005 with the original battery, and use the battery tender, and no issues so far.
97 B/W Very classic somewhat rare Viper, Steel Gray, very rare color, don't see as many, and already modded to a degree. Hard choice, but if you are thinking about modding at all, the 2000 is the better deal, IMHO.
ViperDude is correct! I had 'agreed value' with Grundy, and when my 94 was totaled last year, they cut me a check for $60K. The care had 'everything" done to it, and that's why the high agreed value.
Been a Vette owner, and have had a Gen1 and now a Gen 3 (S/C'd, etc.) and they are two different cars. The Viper hands down is the car for the raw side, and the Vette is the car for the "soft" side of your car experiences. Reliability is another issue. My vette was awful, and needed...
Vic.....not trying to step on your post, but think it through. Do you really believe that 43% of Vipers are totaled within the first 90 days of ownership? Not a reality statement. There are many that have wrecked their cars early in the life of the car due to the non respect of torque, but...
