Hey Cfiiman, mine was pretty clean to begin with. Just had some surface road dirt on the frame. I washed what I could with soap and water then wiped it down with a clean rag. The frame and metal undercarrage turned out really nice. I still need to get up into the wheel wells from below and...
George your lift looks great. I've only had mine for a little over a week and I've already put it to good use. I replaced my clutch slave cylinder, changed the trans fluid, and cleaned the whole undercarriage. This week i will change the oil. You will really enjoy your lift.
I just had a 4 post lift installed and my garage is 9' 6". I can lift my Viper all the way up and I can stand under the car.
I started a thread about my lift a little over a week ago. I'll try to add a link to it.

I wanted to post an updated picture of my garage.
From this:
To this: I have all the cylinders covered now 4, 6, 8, 10 next car will have to be 12 cylinder Ferrari
Our garages are just about the same size, mine is 20'x36'. I back my truck up right to the wall and then I have enough room to get around the front of it with the garage door shut. Yes it is easier with the double door. It looks like you have more height than I do although I don't have any...
Awesome v10enomous, I love the car, love the lift, and love your garage. I saw your pictures in the "show us your garaage post. http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/644163-Show-us-your-garage!?highlight=show+garage
Mechanically yes, physically no. I have a bad back and can't take the chance of making it worse. I've read a lot of post about lifts and everybody says do it yourself and save some money. It's not a 2 man job unless you do it like my installers did and have all the pieces positioned (with a...
No the lift does not need to be bolted down, in fact it comes with wheels that allow you to move it around.
I saw those side mount door openers and if I hadn't just purchased the ceiling mounted one I would have used one of those. Moving the existing door opener was not a problem.
I like backing it in on the lift, but I can also pull in if I wanted to. I just wouldn't be able to raise it as high. You're right about functionality, yesterday I washed the whole under carriage and today I need to replace the clutch slave cylinder.
This company is out of Pontiac MI. The lift was $2000 delivered and installed. It comes with aluminum ramps, jack tray, and wheels. After running the lift up and down a few times, the post did align themselves. The left front post was leaning because the floor pitches downward from the wall...
Thanks guys, no I have 9' 8" ceiling and I'm able to get over 6' clearance under my Viper.
The installer in the third picture is 6'4" and is standing under the car.
Hi Gang, I have a 94 Gen 1 that I've owned since June. A few weeks ago I had a hard time getting it from neutral into any gear. It was a cold morning and I finally got it in gear and it ran fine when it warmed up. Yesterday I was moving the car out of the garage and the clutch felt soft. It went...
Welcome Paul,
The MCVO are a great group of people. We joined in June and have had a blast all summer. Look forward to meeting you at an event or just around town. There are many Vipers around you in Macomb and Shelby .
