So the 3 prongs that you wire to are coved by a small cover, you have to pop the cover to see how its wired.
The switches come as shown, and you need to bottom covers to cover up the soldered area.
Hope that Helps.
So When I first got my car, I had a bad switch on the passenger side door. This is what I ordered and its been working for almost 5 years. Only difference is color is white instead of black.

IMO its a shame it was repainted. I would think B/W seems to be what is most desirable in Gen 2s, but I am biased a little.
Car does look very nice and Good Luck man.
Mine came with a Corsa, so I'm biased. The idle is fantastic, and its not too loud for me.
I also have a corsa on my C5Z06 and it sounds fantastic on that car as well.
No drone on either setup, which I hear is a real problem on some other systems.
Thought I would post this to help out.
98+ came with the more common window switch, but 96-97 had a different one.
I was able to locate that the switch is the same used in 1990 Dodge Caravan.
Found it here...
So I noticed the shift knob was way too low for my liking. I wanted it elevated some. Found these and they work absolutely perfect.

I think its recommended to use Mopar Orange.
After a lot of research, my 96 has run Dex Cool for the last 5 years. It get changed out every other year, and is cheap and readily available.
Dex Cool seems to be GM's version of Mopar Orange.
The corrosion possibility has scared me away from...
You are prob right as I am pretty sure both of my T56's have carbon blockers. I know the early Vettes and Vipers had some paper?
I have heard to definitely do not run synthetic fluid in cars with paper blockers, but I could be wrong.
Either way I have 80k on the Vette's rebuild due to 2nd...
You're probably going to get a lot of different opinions. So get ready for it. Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one.
He's what I'm running in 5 years of ownership:
Oil - Mobile 1 0-40 - recommended weight in new Vipers, and IMO the best fit in the older guys as well. I like the...
Before I replaced the rear toe links my 96 felt similar to what you are describing.
After replacing them and suspension bushings and a good alignment, car felt way different than before.
Hope that helps.
If I remember correctly it was around $650 + shipping and tax
I did hang on to my stock unit and can have it re-cored at some point in the future by a radiator shop, once I find a good one around middle TN.
You could opt for an Aluminum unit but I found them more expensive, and worried about...
Got a Gen 2 myself, so not sure if its the same unit, but I went with a X2 Builders radiator. Stock fitment and has worked well the last 5 years its been installed.
Wonder if anyone would be interested in this type of Viper print.

Got a buddy working on putting one together.
Post up opinion guys.
So I do have a question related to this. Are Gen 2 Vipers battery eaters?
Longest mine has lasted is 3 years, just out of the replacement warranty, but since then I'm on my 3rd.
First was lead acid Napa, but the last 3 have been optima's replaced under warranty.
I know I prob have a drain...
Looking at options right now, I really appreciate the offer. Not an immediate need right now as this is an old used pump I replaced. Nothing wrong with the one on the GTS right now.
