96-97 Window Switch

Thought I would post this to help out.

98+ came with the more common window switch, but 96-97 had a different one.

I was able to locate that the switch is the same used in 1990 Dodge Caravan.

Part number is: DS1129

The swtich pads look a little different, but you can switch over You old one very simply by unclipping and clipping it to the new switch.

The DS1129 is a Standard part. I had to replace mine a few years ago and used the Standard DS1129. Also had to snap the cover off and on the replacement.

Are you saying you used the Dorman in the link above?

Not only do the switches look exactly the same, they are exactly the same (part# interchangeable).

@daveg He did the same as you, just never searched the forum(s) for the same answer he came up with.
