I jumped the gun and bought tickets directly from the track a few weeks ago. I'm buying the SRT package tomorrow. If you know anyone that needs two tickets to Sunday's race that won't be getting the SRT package, give me a shout. $100 value, will sell for $50.
Keri and I will be driving up early on Sunday AM. If anyone is doing the same, we could caravan from the Lake Forest Oasis. If all goes according to my plan, we should be hitting the Oasis at 6:00-6:15am.
Kudos to Patty. :2tu: The roster book is GREAT. It is nice to be able to put faces with the names as I have a hard time remembering everyone. However, Alison is sharp remembering people so we ask her "Who's that?"

Thank you all for your votes so far. Looks like they updated the site and the voting link isn't hidden in the November section. The voting link is next to the photo of the motorcycle, right below our photo.
Thank you for your support!!

Our local ABC station has a daily segment called "I Love My Car". I submitted my family posing with our Vipers. Now they have a vote to pick your favorite car of the month. Please vote for our submission.

Excellent meeting last night! Many new Vipers to see, a GREAT video by Gary, a very practical giveaway, good friends and good food. Who could ask for more???
Hope to see some of you at the Frankfort Cruise Night tonight. Viper is the featured car tonight.

6'7" 230lbs. 2" lowering kit. Can only bring steering while down 1 notch. I need to stop every 75 miles or so while highway driving to stretch. However, it is better to look good than to feel good. I LOVE MY CAR!!!
I'm leaving Chicago early Friday morning and driving to Kansas City. Saturday will be from KC to Vail, CO. Sunday will be Vail to Vegas. I hope I can find the Sitzmark Lodge.
Viva Las Vegas!!!

Oh, Markus. I thought that might have been you. We have met before at Detroit and at VOI 8. I will pass on your greetings to Jon and Kathy. I should be seeing them April 5th at our club meeting. And if you see them before me, tell them "Big Al" says Hi.
Here's a few things most people don't know of in the Vegas area.
- Ocean Spray juice factory tour
- Ethel M chocolate factory tour
- Marshmallow factory tour (don't recall the brand)
All three are quite interesting. Took them a few years ago with a friend that lives in Vegas.
I bought a half gross of 1/36 scale vipers for the same reason. It sure does brighten a kids day when you let them sit in the car and then hand them a model Viper to remember it by. Worth EVERY penny.
Does anyone have insurance on their Viper that has an agreed upon value and not the blue book value at the time of claim? I have a 2002 Final Edition and I drive it as much as possible. But I know that if something major were to happen, I wouldn't be able to replace it without forking over a...
