    Lightweight Flywheels and downshifting

    The engine responds to load more quickly. You will notice the downshift is easier. Best mod I made for the money.

    I HIGHLY recommend the RPS flywheel I got from Jon B at Partsrack. The wear points are segmented and replacable. The engineering is outstanding. They have spent alot of time addressing heat in flywheels. I would recommend going to this website to learn more...

    No, the flywheel comes separately. In fact, the proper procedure is to balance the flywheel alone first, then install the pressure plate and final balance the assembly by putting weight on the pressure plate. That way, future changes of the pressure plate do not require flywheel removal.

    Light weight Flywheel?

    I had the same questions and ended up getting an RPS flywheel from Jon at PartsRack.. All I can say is I immediately began kicking myself.. for not doing it much much sooner.. Hands down the best bang for the buck I did on my SRT.. Call Jon.. spend the cash.. no downside!

    Shifter shakes violently from hard acceleration

    From my experiences with many Vettes, and other folks with modded Vettes as well, wheel hop IS a big problem.. I had to go to drag slicks to be able to get 60ft times under 1.50 without wheel hop..
