Can anyone tell me what affect a lightweight flywheel will have on my SRT downshifting? Do the engine revs stay higher longer? or do they drop faster, making the downshift more tricky?

The engine responds to load more quickly. You will notice the downshift is easier. Best mod I made for the money.

Both up shifting and down shifting are slightly better, IMHO. The engine is just plain more responsive, and so is the car....

The engine revs more easily/quickly. With a lighter flywheel you will have more engine braking and better acceleration (especially at tip-in).
