Not that I would really give a $hit if it was an American car, but mine is built to Canadian spec...daytime lights, speedometer in km/hr etc..... Again, you are not alone young Padawan.
I recieved a serious offer of $60 000 for my car today and I said no, she's not for sale. I bought her almost 2yrs ago for $54 000. Granted the B&W's are a little more rare here in Canada, but it is a good sign. These cars will be worth a ton of dough in 15-20yrs. I just turned 30, so I can...
What an ignorant slug. The only thing meaningless around here is your posts, and your views on tattoo's. Here's a tip: no one will ever know that you've had a lobotomy if you wear a wig to hide to the scars; stop posting your drivel on message boards, and learn to control the slobbering.:2tu:
I had a 2002 FE, beautiful car. But I always wanted a B&W, especially a 96 with the stripes right through the plate. Then there was the forged pistions and lumpy cam. The choice was easy, I sold the FE and picked up a 1996 B&W. That was almost 2yrs ago, couldn't be happier with my decision.
In my mind a nice 96 B&W should be at least 50k, very reasonable to have exceptional examples at or around 60k. Any nice example of a GTS is worth 45-50k. That is what I have paid and will continue to pay for these cars, if I get another. The price should hold, and will only go up eventually...
....is this still a fair assessment? They are the original GTS, and the only GTS with the stripes right through the plate. What is a 96 going for these days? One with average miles.....say 10-20 000?
01-02's are not much more expensive, except possibly an FE. B&W's will not be any cheaper......if anything more expensive, unless they have high milage or are in poor condition.
