I have no idea on the top speed of the Viper bike, but on the Chevy powered Bosses, 1st gear is good to 120 MPH or so. They have been well documented over 200 MPH, but no one has ever been able actually stretch one out. I know at 160, mine still feels fairly stable. Anything over that...I don't...
Guys, the builder of the Viper bike you have the pic of is Tony. You can locate him here: http://www.kentuckianabosshoss.com
It is NOT a one of a kind bike...Tony will build you one customized to your specs. They are absolutely stunning, and I am sure it is easy to ride. I have owned and...
Basically, Cherry Bombs are what I have on my GTS. I tried everything to get the sound I want...but I came to the conclusion it was going to be impossible on the Viper. I LOVE this car and ADORE driving it more than any vehicle I haev ever owned, but I have to say that I have never been...
:D My wife asked me last summer when I was running the air, after I first bought the GTS "How do they expect ANYONE to ride in this thing with the cold air blowing right here!!!" :ooo: I had this comment..HMmmm..Maybe it will help me if the heat comes out right there this winter..heat that...
On a '93, you won't need sims (if I am not mistaken, there are no O2 sensors after the cats in the early years). As far as loud....yes it will definately be much louder, but some of us like that...it is up to your personal taste.. :2tu:

Hey all, this has probably been posted here many times but I can't locate the answer anyplace with the search function here. I know the '96 and '97's had a different camshaft...can anyone tell me the lift/duration of the lumpy cams? Thanks all...

Here are some of the details in his words, straight from the builder, Tony:
The motorcycle known as “the viper bike” started as a 2005 boss hoss zz4, model bhc-3 motorcycle.
This bike has been extensively re-designed and re-engineered. It is now equipped with a 2004 dodge comp coupe SRT-10 8.3...
I have no idea on the specifics..he is busy talking with new potential customers. I am not sure he has taken it to the track as of yet. As for the heat issue, I am asked many times on my 385 HP Chevy smallblock about the heat in the summertime. It is no issue at all...the way the air flow is...
I have a '97 blue/white GTS that I love, but I also love to ride my 385HP Chevy powered V8 Boss Hoss motorcycle. We have a new friend on the Boss Hoss forum, that I think has came up with one of the most awesome bikes I have ever saw...our beloved Viper V10 on a RIDEABLE motorcycle, not some...
Super, Good luck with the Viper! I purchased my '97 B/W there in july..been a very happy customer! They seem fair, and they have 2 Viper techs (I think) I know I have talked with Roberto, one of the Viper techs, and he seems nice and knowledegable.

In reality, PIAA says that their bulbs (the ones you have) draw the same amount of voltage and in essence are 60 Watts, but due to their filament type, they supposedly generate the lumens of a 120 Watt bulb. Thats why you see the two numbers on the bulb and its packaging. Here is a link to the...
Jack, they never were disconnected, as the friend doing the work just removed the cats and resonators and replaced the cats with short glasspack mufflers (12" I think), and welded in a straight pipe in place of the resonators. In the location the O2 sensors behind the resonators, they were never...
Cool collection! I LOVE the Blue/White (because they are like mine I suppose) :headbang:
In the early to mid '90's, the wife and I were addicted to Nascar collectibles. I still have over 600 die-cast cars, haulers, banks, etc. in my computer room. I have everything from 1/64 scale to 1/18...
Well...on some '97's...going catless must throw a code after all. I stopped by and used the OBDII, and it shows the following info:
PO432
Main Catalyst
Below Threshold
Bank 2
The tech says it is throwing the code because the cats have been removed. Oh well...just my luck! I guess now I have to...
Thanks guys, I will have to check it out with a reader..but I do know that on my '97, it does have sensors after (where the cats and resonators were at). It has 2 before where the cats were, and 2 after. I didn't think catless would throw a code on a '97, or so I was told...but an OBDII reader...
Guys, I appreciate it..one more question from a newbie...where is the diagnostic connector located on the '97? (I know that may seem to be a stupid question, but I really have not looked for it).
Mike
My '97 GTS has 21,000 miles, and the only thing I have done recently is removed the cats, resonators and muffler, and replaced them with a set of glasspacks. This evening (after about 100 miles since the cat delete), the check engine light came on. I am a former Vette guy (please forgive me...
OK...I finally had to try out the heat in my '97 GTS this evening. I turned the temp control all the way to the right (hot), and turned the fan to high, turned the position control knob to blow out the front vents, and all I get is cold air. The air is good and warm as long as it is on defrost...
