    If you put it all the way to the left, hold it, then let go slowly. Does it centers itself, or does it get stuck between 1st and third. Mine is really start to piss me off. Thanks for your input. Derek

    negative, I tried turning the shifting linkage left and right with my fingers, it's perfectly fine. So I narrowed it down to the Hurst shifter itself. I really think some higher tension would solved this problem. Thanks for your input.

    I just had B&B headers installed, now every time I accelerate hard, I can smell the exhaust inside the car. Do I have a exhaust leak or something?? Anyone had experinced this problem before??? Thanks in advance. Derek

    Hurst short shifter question

    it doesn't have enough tension to return to the center(neutral position), it kind of stops at between second and forth. I talked to Chunk Tator, he said that maybe it needs more time to break in. Over all it's much better than the stock one.
