Wonderful...guess its good I don't drive it in the rain nor wash it a ton. FWIW...my driveway has about a 5 degree incline and I was washing with the front higher than the rear, so who knows. I've washed the car probably 2 dozen times and this is the first time its happened.
Recently washed the Viper and when I finished, I pulled the floor mats to clean them. To my surprise, the fwd end of the drivers side mat was soaked. I pulled the mat and then noticed water dripping on the floor just aft of the pedals. Water appeared to be dripping from behind the instrument...
I'm guessing all of our global warming friends ignore the fact that the planet goes through natural climate cycles of which we can do nothing about. Wasn't it only about 25 years or so ago that everyone thought we were going to freeze to death? I believe there was even a cover of Time Magazine...
Assuming the computer is the same as an '06 you can get the code without Autozone. Turn the ignition on then off three times slowly and the code will appear on the odometer readout. A simple search on here will then tell you what the code means.
I recently had the drivers side front replaced under warranty on my 06. I took the car in because I found a small puddle of fluid just inside the drivers side front tire. The fluid most resembles brake fluid. I told the dealer that I thought the brakes were leaking (never got under the car to...
I've put my VIN on my profile, but it hasn't been updated. I've been meaning to join the VCA, just seems to always get pushed down the priority list. I would certainly be interested in getting together with the local guys. I just need to know when and where, unfortunately I'm busy next...
Wish the local dealers were a little more enthusiastic about the Viper or that I lived closer to you guys. Hopefully I don't need warranty work as I haven't found one in the area that I trust. Do you guys use lacquer for this, or do you give out the base that then has to be cleared?
Thanks.
Been trying to do some small chip repair on my red '06 coupe using the Mopar touch up paint. The touch up paint doesn't seem to like wet sanding and polishing. It has a decent shine, but gets a little cloudy gray during the process, thus not matching well at all. Anyone else have this...
Tried the search, but can't find anything. If anything is out there, I must be too stupid to find it. I am looking for the color code for the silver stripes used on the '06 as I have some chips to fill. My local Dodge dealer was no help.
I am looking at joining the club. Does anyone here from the Tampa area know anything about Lokey Auto? They have multiple dealerships in the Tampa area, but I specifically am looking at an '06 Coupe they have at the Benz dealership.
Any info. that could be provided is appreciated.
Thanks.
