LOL, is this possibly right about Viper's fuel economy?

Wow, I didn't even think about gas mileage when I bought my Viper. Mine sucks in the city and does upper 20's on the interstate. D

    Please Help!!!

I recently have had the motor in my 03 rebuilt (spun/stacked bearing on #4) and was having a huge oil pressure problem. At idle after rebuild my car held basically 0 oil pressure, have changed sensors etc. I have had Arrow Racing build me a new timing cover with a modified PRV and a bored oil...

How do you keep the rear end at the rear?

In first gear at full accelaration my 2003 is tons of fun, but full throttle acceleration in a straight line is no problem, I find where you need to be careful is comming out of corners and over accelerating, this can get you into trouble.

    Engine Swap

Hey all, will the motor out of a 2006 viper drop right into a 2003 Viper without any major problems at install? Thanks

    Oil Pressure on 03 Viper

Update on my oil pressure issue. Had the PRV checked and put back togeather, still no oil pressure at guage at idle. Put an external gauge on to check oil pressure, 30 pounds at idle-go figure. Took the external guage off and re-connect, 30 pounds at idle on the guage in the dash. I ordered...

    Oil Pressure on 03 Viper

Thanks for all the posts guys. I took your advise and talked with Todd from Arrow Racing Engines. He is telling me the PRV probably has some debris in it and is stuck. I have not driven it since the rebuild and am in the process of having the PRV cleaned, and they recommended puting one washer...

    Oil Pressure on 03 Viper

At 2000RPMs it holds about 40 lbs. I am going to take it to Dodge later this week and have them put an external gauge on it and check the pressure. If it is holding more pressure than my gauge is reading then have a new sensor/guage put in it. Just don't want to hurt my new motor at this...

    Oil Pressure on 03 Viper

I had the motor rebuilt in my Viper at under 30K miles, spun and stacked the bearing on #4. This happened at highway speeds at about 1400 RPMs. I have read tons of posts here and elsewhere where I see people say their Vipers ar holding huge oil pressure numbers. My does initially at start up...

    Viper Won't Start After Re-Build

Thanks all, Plumcrazy, didn't mean to waste your time. I thought this was a place you could come and talk to other Viper owners about issues we were having with our cars. Trust me, the Machine Shop is trying to run it down, just want to try to make sure I don't take it in the shorts.

    Viper Won't Start After Re-Build

Tried that, didn't work. Left the iginition key in the on position for about an hour and walked away, still no Spark. All cannon plugs connected and wired correctly. May have to tow to Dodge and let them check it out. Thanks Dennis

    Viper Won't Start After Re-Build

Was in Texas with my Viper a couple of months ago and spun the bearing on the #4 Rod. Had the Vehicle Transported back to Vegas, had the motor removed and totally re-built by a well known machine shop here in Vegas. They did this for 5K. I did replace the clutch etc at re-build. 2003 Viper...
