i know this is a super old thread, but i'm fighting this battle now. the link no longer works, did anyone save the page DAMN YANKEE posted with his EXCELLENT instructions? i used the proper PS pulley and it still chipped off half the lip it was latched on to.
i don't understand how so many people confuse it with a vette, they look nothing alike. the obvious lack of two circle taillights (if they can see the rear) should give it away. it's like confusing a german sheperd with a pitbull. and if not sure, why not just ask instead of just assume...
I have a paxton too, is the heavier weight oil so it can keep higher pressure due to extra heat from being FI? last time i changed the oil i used the weight the service manual recommended.
BTW i will be at the dyno day as well.
i just took all mine off to replace cause they're bad. take the top nut off all of them, use a ball joint separator ($20 at harbor freight, best tool ever), then the sway bar will swing/pivot up and then you can repeat same steps for bottom and pull them out.
I'm having this issue where it sounds like I'm revving as I'm slowing down and in neutral. (1000rpm, 1500rpm, 1000rpm, repeat). however it only happens when i'm running a/c. which one of these items should I try first given that? it has a paxton running on an sct tune.
