Possible 2016 Supercharged
AMG does indeed make TQ monsters. The V12 biturbo makes 740 ft/lbs stock mated to their 7g tronic. The V8 biturbos come with 660 ft/lbs stock in the SL63 and S63 models running on the 7-MCT transmission. Many of these have been modded making well over 700 ft/lbs at the wheels with no issues...- Bildad

I heard the same about the TA. I tried out the GTS as that's what was on hand. Unfortunately there are no TA's around for me to try out. :( The GTS I tried was a '14 that already had the washers under the seats removed and pedals all the way back. Challenger Hellcat gets 707HP!
I'm only 6'0, but a lot of my height is from the waist up which makes headroom a problem in some cars. Car shopping is a little interesting as I take my helmet with me to make sure I fit in it properly. I get a lot of strange looks doing that.- Bildad

I can live with a manual and have had a few recent manual cars such as 997.2 GT3 and an Ariel Atom. I would have preferred an auto as I get older and lazier though. The viper has a few inherent flaws as I see it. One is headroom, or lack of. I went to check one out a while back with the intent of getting one. Until I sat in it. My head was hitting the roof. Headroom
I went back this weekend to do a re-test fit after moving the pedals and found they were already as far back as they would go. I'm not not a heavy guy, only 185 so it's not that. If I didn't need to ever wear a helmet it would be ok, but I don't see that happening. Not taking it to the track...- Bildad

Didn't see an TA's around, but lots of GTSs. Some dealers have 6 of them. The one I was at had 2. Yes, I moved the seat as far forward as I could comfortably go to operate the pedals and reclined it, there isn't much room for that. I didn't move the pedals though. Those move? The...- Bildad

I went to look at a 2014 GTS this weekend and though I'm only 6'0 my hair was almost brushing the roof. I'm tall above the waist so not an uncommon problem for me. I had the seat lowered all the way down and in my driving position. I took my helmet in and with it on I had to have my head...- Bildad
