Just bought the car, so I'm new to Vipers. The no door handle on the drivers side is correct from factory, right?

If you mean the part you would grab to close the door, then yes. Only the passenger side has one.

Thats the "oh $hit" handle, should a Driver really have one? Shouldnt his hands been on the steering wheel?
The "cupped" area in the arm rest of the door, is what you are supposed to be using to close the door, not the "oh $hit" handle (passanger side only).

The "cup" is the cheapest looking part of the car IMHO. Someone needs to make an aluminum insert or trim ring to spice it up. Easy manufacturing job. Don't forget my royalties...
