Hey Jon- Congrats on the new car. Looks great! Soon to be one heading our way as well- though the owner probably wont drive it much....certainly not 2700 miles in a couple days!

Congratulations on the new Coupe!

Love the Gen II GTS but that side by side photo makes it look a little dated.

"The tires are aligned for max tire wear, so rut-tracking is a problem in "studded tire ruts" out West. A mild track-alignment a guaranteed FIRST on my list."

Can you post or send me the specs for the alignment that will cut down on the rut-tracking?

Congrats on the beautiful new coupe Jon.
Nice side by side pic. IMHO the new coupe is a significant improvement over the old one in terms of looks. Can't wait to see one in person.

What a great looking car. COngrats.

I am wondering how does she run? Is it slower than your gts or is it too hard to tell?

I love your write up and the pics!

The extra HP and TQ over a stock GTS are very obvious.
The BRAKES are so much better than the GTS that I worry I might forget which car I am in while entering Turn One in the GTS and have a big OOOOOPSSSSSSsssshhhhiiiiiiit! It will be at the trcak Friday, and Pace Car for an 8-hour Enduro race Sat... Ill let ya know !

Jon, Do you think you'll be lowering the Coupe? From the all the photos I've seen it always looks a little high.

Absolutely...as soon as we do the track alignment we are installing the 5/8" spring caps, and eventually the Motons. Will know more after track days Fri-Sat.
I am thinking about storing the OE FE wheels (Special edition) as I did my 96 Whites. And going w/ 18" lighter wheels for performance. Even tho these FE wheels are 35 lbs lighter than SRT-10 spokes, the tires are HEAVY and make the shocks work harder.

NayKid Racing (Sponsored by Dodge, Forgeline, and PartsRack) is kikin' asp w/ Forgeline SX3-R lightweights...

Why only 5/8"? I'd like at least 1" if not a little more. If the 5/8" looks good in pictures, I'll buy a set. It's gotta be better than the current 4x4 look!
