No, fortunately I got some EBC greens put on at the same time I got the wheels. I liked the feel of the stock pads but the amount of dust they generated was ridiculous.

You must be kidding! Try cleaning chrome ACR's. VR1's are cake.

Re: 19

Yes, the wheels and the silver paint complement each other nicely. Do you have any shots of the Viper further back, so that a I can getter a better idea of how it truly looks? Close-ups don't reveal the true harmony that add-ons lend or take away. Ya know?

Re: 19

Dave, surely you're not admitting to driving your snake around with dirty wheels occasionally are you? :) You can't have an excuse for not cleaning the stockers--those are the easiest of all!

The car just has a very smooth and clean look to it. Nice choice.

Re: 19

The polished forgelines (with viper logos on the centers) and 19" Michelin Pilots ran me about $6k, and that includes tire mounting, wheel balancing, and shipping.

Re: 19

Great looking set-up. Did you buy the whole package from Forgeline and if so, did they send the tires already mounted and balanced on the wheels? Also, what are the tire sizes front and rear. Sorry about all the questions, but I'm very interested in this set-up for my Red/Silver GTS. Thanks, David

Re: 19

Sharp wheels, indeed. They look great on both Vipers, and both Vipers look great!
I noticed that both sets are different from those that come with the SRT-10 Vipers in that the centers are not flush with the outside of the wheel. Are they specially ordered like that or do they just not make them like the ones that come with the SRT-10 Vipers?

Re: 19

They are two different wheels. These are Forgeline VR1's. I don't know who makes the SRT wheels for DC. Apples and oranges, though you're right that the spoke pattern is similar.

Re: 19

But isn't Forgeline the manufactures of the Viper SRT-10 wheels?
I though that, particularly since their website says:

VR1 19" Viper Wheels
One piece, fully forged wheel. The ultimate in strength and ultra-lightweight.
Built exclusively for Vipers in 19x10 and 19x13.
Available in silver with polished lip, fully polished, and custom painted centers.
So they are not the manufacturers?

Re: 19

Getting ready to trade my RT/10 in for an '03 silver SRT-10 used as the Show Room car, that has the same rims as yours on it. Very nice!
