19 inch Sport Cups???

The Autoweek article on the new ACR says that it is shod with 345/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.

Could this be true?

Potential good news for folks looking for a 19 inch R compound tire.

Looks like there is no direct replacement for the stock 2006 front size, would a 285-30-18 work (rather than the 275-35-18)?

I'm in for a set.

When you do start getting these new Sport Cups, would you mind letting us know what weight advantage (if any) the Sport Cups have versus same or similar sized Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires that come stock on the 2008 Viper? Thanks.

345/30-19 Pilot Sport Cup has been added to the Michelin website as of this morning but, no exact ETA as of yet .... and as usual JonB is first in line

Read that initial production will be to supply the Viper ACR's coming from Dodge.

After production catches up with OEM requirements, they will be released to the public through the dealers.

As usual Jon B and Luke at tire rack will be champing at the bit to get their shipments of these larger tire sizes.
