19\" Rubber

For those running 19's all around, what size and brand tires are you running?

I'm looking into PS2's, Pirelli's, Nitto's etc.

19" Pirelli P zero's all around. 275/30/19 front and 355/25/19 on the rears. The only problem is the 355's are hard to find nowadays.

thought trojan was the only one producing a 19" rubber, that was the only one i could find.

Michelin Pilot Sports (would be PS2s but they weren't out yet)

275/35-18 front, 345/30-19 rears, couldn't be happier.

I went with the taller 345/30-19 Michelin because it was bigger than the pirelli. The pirelli looked too small on the rear, didn't balance with the front or the size of the wheel well. very happy with the proportion of the michelins, and the 18 front 19 rear seems to even out the car.

But- if you go with a 19" wheel and the Pirelli tire you keep close to the original stock 18" wheel and tire ratio. I don't know what effects changing that ratio has - speedometer? etc.

you are correct, the speedo error is small (around 5%) and it does effect your overall gear ratio. I always planned to change gears. stock is 3.07, with the bigger michelins the effective ratio is close to 2.92, and with 3.73 gears installed its close to 3.55.

I purchased the Unitrax speedometer cal box and made adjustments along the way.
