That has been a heck of an investment for somebody. Pay $50,000 (or more) for it in 1992 dollars. Have money ******* in it for 17 years plus have to store it and insure it. Enjoy driving it an average of 35 miles a year. Put it up for sale to get a $50,000 bid in 2009 dollars.

A first year with almost no miles and a number 7 production number. It can't get much rarer than that. That should be a lesson to all the Viper owner's not driving their car because they are saving it for Barrett Jackson.

Some poor Chrysler dealer has to really be hurting to have held onto this so long and be trying to sell it in this economy.

What I don't understand is that I thought #18 was the first of the '92 vipers that was available to the public. One through 17 were press cars, development cars, and given to Chrysler executives. Something dosent seem right.

The vin# on this viper is 00024. If #00018 is the first public viper sold than he is correct in saying this is the 7th.

Chances are this guy paid well north of a hundred, The 92 I owned was a $117,000 car to the original owner, I paid $35K for it with 6K miles

i still remember when the first year vipers were about to hit the streets, and seeing ads in the hemming motor news - "taking orders now starting at $100,000." most of the sellers got it too.

I wonder what they were expecting to get for this? I would have thought $50K to have been a pretty good price in this economy, even for a low mile '92.

What a BS description... "Door dings are usually present on used vehicles, but not on this one" - I've seen 'em scratched and scraped, but never a door ding on a Viper! :lmao:

This dealer is obvisouly just fishing, and not really interested in selling the car...

VIN numbers on the Viper are not in sequence, so its hard to figure out what production number the car is without checking all the MDH codes.

They want $75,000 for the car.
