Sorry for the stupid question I see them now. I will take them. How do you want me to pay? I have access to paypal?
Now that this item is SOLD, PartsRack also has Authorized Replicas of the decal kit by the original manufacturer, but in a a non-original box. We also have ORIGINAL Viper GTS OPC key chains, lapel pins, and uniform patch sets to go with the kits for $349 complete!!
1) The BOX. We COULD have copied the box, but chose not to. No allegations of NOS here! 2) The originals from 1996 dont age well....they can get get scalloped edges on the backing (not the decal) and I have seen some yellowing of the clear areas on the old decals. They will get brittle too...... Buy a NOS set for posterity as you did...... Buy our licensed-repros, new and flexible, to USE and not worry about, and you get the rare, original memorabilia for free ! I have donated the 91+96 GTS OPC kits to VCA auctions, they always go for ~$200/set!
Thanks Jon. Any chance you think you will ever run across NOS side emblems for a blue/white 97 RT10 its driving me crazy that I can't find a pair? Been looking since fall of 2007
Dang it Les, I said it before and I will say it again, you have a good eye for Vipers You've got just about got all the ones on my "want" list Just missing a 2008/09 ACR
JonB, do you also have the decal sets for the matching IndyRam's Just curious because they are getting harder to find and the ones on Ebay seem to go for big bucks lately. I have two extra original sets that I bought for future use, but other guys are always looking for decals. If you have them, I will send them your way. Tim 00 GTS 96 Indyram
Errrr, three of my Vipers including the blue/white 97 RT 10 are for sale right now. I am trying to sell some muscle cars to buy another high dollar muscle car and the seller is getting impatient for me to raise the money hence three Vipers are for sale. The 97 RT 10, 1999 silver blue GTS coupe with about 85 miles still in the wrapper and GT2 # 89.
Absolutely no mods and I am still looking for the correct side emblems for the 97 RT 10 to return it to factory original condition. I don't modify my Vipers, in order to make them quicker I modify the driver with Barber Dodge race series, karting and practice.
Very nice cars Les, good luck with the sales. But I don't think there is any one car worth three Vipers EDIT BY LEE No EBAY ADS PLEASE Cars must be in the classifieds here first.
I can't say because the car is not publicly for sale and I don't want it to get out that it is available, the car is rare enough that if I mentioned any details it would immediately be obvious to the small segment of us who pay stupid money for these old muscle cars which car it is because so few are left. Sorry.
The Boss 429 is one of the cars I am trying to sell to buy the new muscle car. It is the highest scoring B9 in MCA history and can be stolen for half of what other lessor quality B9s have recently sold for in a quick sale. I sent my friend a huge non refundable deposit on the new muscle car I want today after selling one of my other cars so I am committed and will be selling some more cars. The B9 has new with the stickers still on them NOS 1970 date code correct tires and a NOS new date code correct exhaust system on it so if you want to drive it somewhere other than on a trailer those would have to be replaced. Everything on the car is NOS hoses, belts etc. So it is more a museum car than a driver.
Les, Post a link to your car museum for the good people on this site and show them what one hell of a car collection looks like. I would love to buy that 429 for my father in law, he's a mustang fanatic, he'd probably park it in his living room! thanks Steve
Steve, I am not sure I am allowed to do that? Lee emailed me to let me know the previous references to my cars violated the forum rules. I have sold a couple of incredible Mustangs lately for way below market. One of them was the nicest unrestored 69 Boss 302 in the world according to the MCA judges. I sold or rather gave away today a 69 Cobra Jet Convertible 4 speed Mustang GT with the shaker hood one of 26 ever built like that in 69 to Bob Perkins the Mustang guru. Bob should have been wearing a mask the SOB. LOL I am getting away from the National Mustang competitions they have got so carried away with the NOS date code correct parts requirements for their Thoroughbred judging that you can't even enjoy the cars anymore. At least the Chevy and Mopar guys still have shows where they show the cars then go drag race them and enjoy them. The cost to bring a Mustang to Thoroughbred level where every part must be NOS or refurbished is off the charts. The parts on my Boss 429 are worth over 200K and I have been offered 35K for the exhaust alone. Just nuts its no fun anymore. The Mopar guys are doing this also with their OE class.
I don't think I am allowed to post my cars but here is a link to the best muscle car collection in the world in my opinion. Home and here is a link to a classic car dealer with another astonishing private collection. He is only one of two muscle car dealers I trust and would ever do business with after 30 years of buying and selling muscle cars. Check out his wide variety of cars. Les, If you post an ad for your cars in the classifieds here then you are allowed to link to Ebay or the classifieds. A link to your car museum is fine and violates no rules, post a link, I want to see those cars before they all go away. By the way, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU BUYING NOW? that you are ditching all those cars you worked so hard to collect?
And that is exactly what I told him, if he puts them in the classifieds it will help him (7 million views a month) and it's FREE for him AND he can link ebay ads in.
Les, I live a few miles away from Kevan Suydam's car collection and have seen quite a few of his cars. They are very impressive!!
Lee, Like I mentioned the Vipers will be the last to go hence I avoided the classifieds. I sold one muscle car and am working deals on a few others so I think the Vipers are staying put. Hope posting this link is OK only thing for sale on the link are two muscle cars. Here is the link Las Vegas Classic Cars
