1997 Viper P0500 speed sensor no signal, Speedo Inop, New sensor, same issue

My 97 viper is throwing a po500 "no speed sensor signal" i replaced the speed sensor and same problem still occurs, speedometer is not working. the sensor is getting power and power going out of it. i checked the pin on the pcm and it has power from sensor as well.

seems that the pcm is bad, any ideas or other fixes? this is the only issue im having

Does this car happen to have a gear change that would have necessitated a speedo calibration box? If so it could be the issue.
