1999 RT/10 coming out of 5 yrs storage.

I own 1999 RT/10 both tops, 25,011 original miles, metallic silver, blue race stripes, garage-stored without being cranked since I drove it into garage in 2021. No battery trickle charge. Fully loaded, sole owner, purchased new as gift from Fitzgerald Motors in New Hampshire. Never wrecked or damage, running perfect when parked, only driven in summers running around town, still registered and insured. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen health issue, I never started car again after parked. Need to get it ready to sell. No personal mechanical knowledge/experience. First step is to find someone who can get this beauty back on the roads, but how do I find a Viper expert, please? My previous Viper mechanic retired a few yrs ago. Washington, DC/Maryland/Virginia Metro area. Solid advice, please?

I bet if you drained the fuel and put fresh in it might start up….5 years is not a crazy amount of time.

I am local and ran across NexGen Performance in Glen Burnie, MD two years back and they've been great with numerous repairs and modifications on my Viper and a bunch of owners I know in the area. He was able to diagnose a weird issue, 3 other shops could not and they build a lot of LS motors and other platforms too. Tell Randy that Val sent you, he'll take great care of you. Also, if you're interested in selling the soft top, please let me know. Tired of trusting the weatherman lol.

I have a 1994 Gen 1 and had it in storage for 6+ years. I moved it several times without starting it and had it towed from one storage unit to another. I replaced the battery as it was old and would no longer hold a charge. I added pigtails to the jump location under the hood so it will be tended from now on. I pulled the fuel filler and vent hose and siphoned all the old fuel, it was sitting around 8 gallons. Put is all back together and added 4 gallons of premium non ethanol fuel. Cycled the fuel pump 5 times and fired it up. The lifters were a little unhappy for a minute as they hadnt seen or felt oil in that time. I let it warm up to operating temperature and drove it around the storage complex. Last night my friend and I put it up on a rack and changed both the oil/oil filter and the fuel filter as well. It gave me time to inspect under the car as well, rear diff, pinion, transmission etc. I will be servicing the transmission and rear diff. OE sticker on transmission states Dextron II E which is now obsolete. I am wondering what fluid to replace it with? Rear diff is 75W140 with limited slip. Replacing the fuel was not as challenging as I thought it would be. If youre mechanically inclined I think with a buddy along side you it wont be that hard.
