I have an 01 RT... looking to get some breathing room by adding in some hi-flos... the car is stock, should I just get some 2 1/2" In\Out hi-flo cats?

Thanks.

Nah... no turbo or SC setup. Just want a nice sound... and heard that just adding hi-flo cats will help.

I'd like my WOT to be a nicer sound, and also when i'm just reving it up... my jeep is louder than my viper... i'd like to correct that... but not go way over budget.

most sound suppression and drone elimination for your car (assuming rear exhaust on your 01 RT) is at the rear muffler

hiflows will add some better sound, but is minimal with stock muffler, but they will cool the sills some (from scorching to just hot, not cool)

depends on what you want your driving experience to be - many threads on it

Call Jon at PartsRack at 360 837 3937. He can help you with this question and has the parts at the best price too.

THANK YOU

If cats can't flow more due to the restricted stock exhaust, It can't run any cooler.

My neighbor is a fireman.
He has some short lengths of surplus firehose.
If I splice one into my garden hose, will I get more pressure out the nozzle?
Nope.

i started w/ just hiflows, some better sound and a little less heat

then did muffler delete, much more sound than stock, some more than just hiflows, much more fun to drive and rev

stock muffler is a tank (or a truck muffler - very effective re: sound, not for flow)
