2000 Viper at local dealer...worth reading

just saw a local dealer with a 2000 Black GTS with Silver stripes (my favorite)! Asking price 82,000.00!!!! WHATEVER...I told him I could buy that car all day long on the internet for 73 or 74. He said well this one will do 0 - 60 in 3 seconds flat!!!!! I responded with is it stock...yes..so I said if it does not can I sue you for false advertisement cause it ain't gonna???? These dealers in SC are a JOKE! Oh and of course they weren't going to give me carp for my 96 RT/10!

When I bought mine, I had to get the price down also, they wanted 78,000

I had a great buying experience at my dealer. I walked in, told the GM I wanted a viper. Got a cup of coffee, sat down. He came in and said "here is the price and interest rate we can offer". It was $5000 off the sticker and 7.3%. My response was "where do I sign"!!
