The 2003 Viper that I saw last January had a plastic material that was used for the exterior front fender panels. It was easily bendable at the corners and I thought that this was very unacceptable. Not only did I not like it bending but over time plastic materials tend to be unstable and may distort on their own. Does anyone know if stiff plastic fender panels will be used on the production cars? This is an example of why you need to closely examine the many details of any all new vehicle prior to making a commitment. Thanks!
