22 Miler per Gallon in my GTS - $13.75 for 200 miles! :)

Drove from Austin, to San Antonio and then drove around in San Antonio for a bit. I filled up before I left Austin and then filled up when I got back. Total mileage was right at about 200 miles (according to GOOGLE Earth). The car has a new clutch I'm breaking in, so with that in mind, I didn't really "get on it" any. Only a few small "blips" of the throttle getting on and off the highway, but nothing crazy or anything. So anyhoo.... I filled up my car before I left and then when I got back. I can't remember if I put in 8.5 gallons or 9.5 gallons so I calculated 9... ( I think it was 8.5 though). Kept it in 6th gear as much as possibly (65-75 mph highway speed) and used the A/C for only about 50 miles on the Highway. It was cool to see the $13.50 total spent at the gas pump @ $1.35 a gallon!

Last night I was driving to a friends house and realized I wrote the price for Regular unleaded but I put in Supreme. So yea, Regular was about $.20 cheaper, but the Supreme I put in was closer to $1.55-ish. Still enough to make you jealous though! he he...
