After reading the post on 92 Vipers, I am curious if the early 93 Vipers (antena on rear and battery in trunk)were hand made like the 92 or a production vehicle like the later 93's.
They seem to be a cross between the two. Certain items like valve covers, dimple on gas door surround, battery location, exhaust hangers, cam profile, etc.
The early 93 cars were more of a continuation of the 92's. Things were changed all along the way, out of neccesity. Vendors and suppliers that could not meet the deadlines were sacraficed causing minor changes. Antennas were removed to comply with the regulations for sales outside the USA. The early 93 cars have antennas because they had not run out of parts yet. When the parts ran out the changes were made. Production did not really gear up until 94.
There are differences between the 92 cars and the early 93 cars, but they are small.
